Faty Ly  is a senegalese ceramist. At the end of the 90s, Faty assists a Burkinabé potter and discovers a craft technique that immediately fascinates her.

She gradually learns to sift the clay, to model, to create finishes  and to produce beautiful clay products.

In 2005, she joined Central Saint-Martins, one of the most prestigious schools of Art and Design in the world. She discovered industrial ceramics and decided to create her own brand.

This dessert plate is part of her last collection named “Toile de Korogho “ which is inspired by the traditional mud cloth  from the northern part of Ivory Coast.
