Before being recuperated by the interior decorating scene , jujus hats are African ritual ornaments which are worn by the royal dancers of the Bamikele ethnic group, located west of Cameroon. They are still used during ceremonies in Cameroon .
Made of bird feathers – chickens or guinea fowl -and they are then  fixed on a raffia support crowned with a leather which allows the deployment of a crown of brightly coloured feathers.

These ritual ceremonies are held in honor of the Chief, the Fon, and local dignitaries, at funerals or other occasions.

Today, the variety of combinations and colors have allowed aka headdresses to make their places in our homes and to beautifully adorn our interiors.

Whether you choose to stage it as a single piece or  in a composition, whether you opt for neutral colors or more funky tones, these hats have become a must for the sophisticated interior .
