Yéanzi was born in 1988 in Katiola, Ivory Coast. He lives and works in Bingerville.
Having trained in photography at the Lycée d’Enseignement Artistique in Cocody and the National School of Fine Arts in Abidjan where he graduated from his class in 2012, Yéanzi worked as a portrait painter for a dozen or so years.
Since 2013, he has continued his personal work using plastic material which he melts to create his works. He changed his relationship to portraiture by painting without painting the people around him . In this process, he collects the stories of each of his characters and , he uses their name as their title, their remarkable identity, the mask they wear in society, to reveal their personality in his work.
Yéanzi has received several prizes and distinctions, including the first prize of painting in the cultural contest “Ivory Coast-Israel”, in 2008. He also received the diploma of honor of the National Order of Merit Ivory in 2012 .
In 2013, he won the “Guy Nairay Grand Prix” and the “Bene Hoane” prize in 2013. He also participated in the “Jeux de la Francophonie” in Nice, France.

The Galerie Cécile Fakhoury presented his works on the occasion of the 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair 2014 and 2015, in London, the 1:54 in 2016 in New York and at Art Dubai 2015.
