Gosette Lubondo

Born in 1993 in Kinshasa (DRC), Gossette Lubondo was quickly inspired by her father’s works a photographer. She also earlier on quickly became interested in photography and practiced her art in a studio. In 2014, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa

Gossette finds inspiration in her everyday environment as the well as the people and atmosphere surrounding her. She works at the intersection of past and present, old and new, questioning the memory of aging sites. His images are a testimony of the traces left behind, testifying to the history and the continuous evolution of life.
